The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and oversee all day-to-day supply chain planning activities across CQN North Sea, in close cooperation with the Planning Manager. Main duties will include advising and providing input to all major supply chain planning initiatives within the business unit (BU), having a medium-long term outlook and high impact on working capital. These activities include: supply chain planning operations, process development, planning and execution. Customer and client interaction / business partnership, systems and data management & reporting, as well as people, talent and budget management.

Main Tasks:

Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process

  • Prepare supply and demand issues/suggestions/inputs to monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)/ IBP process.
  • Assist higher management in deciding which tools/systems are appropriate to use for specific supply chain environments.
  • Assist Planning Manager in the support and implementation of good planning procedures across the BU
  • Ensure optimal use of available technology
  • Improve system capabilities across the BU
  • Assist in the review process of the BU’s product portfolio
  • Balances demand with supply in a best profitable way aligned to business strategy
  • Provides direction to team on capacity of inventory in relation to demand of customer orders
  • Collaborates with team to determine how and when to modify the original forecast and plan
  • Reviews stock levels and monitors inventories in cooperation with relevant supply chain personnel (central and local team)
  • Facilitate and manage the rolling forecast in collaboration with Sales, Marketing & Finance teams
  • Ensure accepted accuracy via constant forecast evaluation vs budget vs actual sales and adjusting forecasting models and assumptions taken for sales activities/events


  • From a user perspective, give insight and assist higher management in the definition of improvement projects, this including ERP/MES-related projects
  • Provides guidance and feedback to help team identify areas of improvement and cost management deficiencies
  • Plan feasible material flow (finished goods and raw materials) driven by forecast and taking into account internal constraints
  • Define, implement and execute medium-long term sales and operations plans and other supply chain strategies
  • Responsible for the BU’s forecasting processes. Monitor and assess process in cooperation with Planning Manager.


  • Give insight and valuable information (feedback) to higher management on the impacts on supply chain related initiatives and plans.
  • Evaluate and assess complex supply chain data, and optimisation/scenario management models to help analyse forecasts for medium-long term outlook.
  • Reviews and publishes KPIs (key performance indicators), and implement actions to improve best practices across the BU.


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree within Logistics, Material Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with and familiar with S&OP/IBP process
  • Knowledge of the demand and supply planning process
  • System thinker, good interpersonal skills, execution power
  • Good overview of intercompany processes
  • Relations and network builder
  • Strong on process execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Degree within Logistics, Material Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in managing a full scale S&OP/IBP process
  • Experience within demand- and/or supply planning
  • System thinker, good interpersonal skills, execution power
