We are currently recruiting for a position to support our northern sites in our Mainland Marine region based from South Shian, although we would be willing to discuss alternatives for the right candidate.
The role is designed to provide 1:1 routine mentoring of marine farm managers. Through this function farm managers have access to rapid, informed and influential decision making. They have an experienced practical support to share feedback, promote innovative action and improve planning.
Farming Support staff do not dilute the marine farm manager's responsibility rather they create the opportunity for accountability and stimulate progress. These roles are without parallel in the industry and align with SSF's commitment to coaching our farm managers to express their full potential and maximize their positive impact on the business
Candidates must demonstrate an understanding and track record of excellence in all aspects of Site Management.
To be considered you must ideally already be a highly respected Manager within the aquaculture industry, and be able to demonstrate your commitment in developing a strong safety culture. You will be open, honest and communicate with ease at all levels. Your ability to plan ahead will be matched by close attention to detail. This role forms part of the Regional Production team and will be expected to add value to all aspects of the Mainland business.
