Utility Vessel Second Skipper

Scottish Sea Farms are delighted to announce the new build of a Northern Isles Utility Vessel which will service our Orkney and Shetland Regions. 
This 22m service vessel will provide vital support to our Orkney and Shetland Marine farms assisting with a varied range of tasks including moorings, fish health treatments, net changing, feed supply and distribution.
Although delivery date will be Autumn 2019, we are looking to recruit an experienced Second Skipper to influence aspects of the build and truly make the vessel "their own".  

The ideal candidate will have extraordinary practical experience and skills, be a great people person, and be highly safety conscious with a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Coastal off-shore qualification or equivalent. Experience with gridwork & moorings is essential, preferably with a sound mechanical background. Shifts will consist of two weeks on, two weeks off.
