Chief Operating Officer

Deep in the cool, clear waters of the Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand, we're growing a primary product that's a true leader in its market. Right now, we have the rare opportunity for an experienced leader in aquaculture to play an integral part in our operations. You could represent a top quality premium product as Chief Operating Officer for the world's finest and largest producer of King Salmon, renowned locally and globally for the Ōra King, Regal, Southern Ocean and Omega Plus brands.

Based at the top of the South Island, you'll enjoy an enviable New Zealand lifestyle; cultured, epicurean, sporty, outdoor, scenically beautiful and a little 'alternate'. With a vibrant local community and proximity to top quality schooling, this coveted 'work-life' balance is all accessible here.

From your experience in the industry, you'll have built an extensive knowledge of salmon aquaculture which will put you in good stead to lead both our Aquaculture and Processing operations. We're after implementation of best practice in Processing and deep functional excellence to deliver top quality fish health and 'world first' ground breaking new products. Optimising our aquaculture model, developing our off-shore operations and modernising our processing facilities, you'll help take our brands to the highest levels, and see that we maintain our position as the world's most highly branded salmon producer.

A key part of our senior leadership team, this a challenging and highly rewarding role. You'll lead with excellence and inspire excellence in others. As a seasoned senior manager, you'll be familiar with making high-level strategic decisions on a daily basis and be comfortable communicating with and engaging team members at all levels. If you have the proven ability to drive the performance of a large, and geographically spread operational team, you'll thrive.

If you're a leader in the aquaculture industry, ready for challenge and change, it's time to step into this respected role with New Zealand King Salmon.
