Global R&D RAS Manager

The position as R&D RAS (Recirculation Aquaculture Systems) Manager will be responsible for ensuring that new, on-going and maintenance product development and innovation programs in AKVA group meet future market requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the innovation process for product areas and development of product road maps
  • Input on market requirements and innovation ideas into the global strategy work and contribute to global and local priorities
  • Identify new products for new market opportunities as well as green field innovation activities
  • Manage selected development projects

Testing and verification of product changes and developments
Participate in R&D management group and activities with both local and global perspective
Manage and develop people and competencies within responsibility area
Relevant candidates have higher education (MSc) in physics, chemistry, biology or other relevant fields and sound knowledge of, and interest in, RAS technology and operations. The position requires close collaboration with senior management, sales and marketing as well as technical teams globally. You will interface in a matrix with Land-based business unit and other business units when needed. You will be part of our innovative R&D management team and report to Chief Innovation Officer.
