As a sub-contracted MSC Fisheries Assessor at Lloyd´s Register you will as part of a team (either as Team Member or Team Lead) assess a variety of fisheries against the relevant MSC Fisheries Standard. Qualifications and/or experiences relevant to one or more of the MSC’s three principles are a must (P1 – Sustainable target fish stocks, P2 – Environmental impact of fishing, P3 – Effective management, see Annex PC of the MSC’s Fisheries Certification Process v2.2 for further details). You will act as an expert and examine the relevant components of clients’ fisheries against the standard across various global locations. You goal is to provide a robust, fair and impartial assessment of the client’s fishery, provide an excellent service to the client and be knowledgeable about the requirements of the accreditation.
The broadening and deepening of the collaboration with our clients is also a great aspect of your job. Based on your expertise you will contribute to the development of our services.
