As our commercial manager, you will develop our market position as a leading feed supplier to aquaculture in the West Mediterranean area and in Africa. Play a key role in consolidating BioMar’s leading position

As commercial manager, you will play a key role in consolidating BioMar’s position as a preferred feed supplier to aquaculture in the region. Your main challenge will be to expand our sales meeting our growth objectives. You will refer to the managing director and be a part of the management team for BioMar West Med & Africa. Leading our sales, technical support and customer support in the region, you will be responsible for:


  • Creating and implementing the commercial strategy

  • Managing a portfolio of our key accounts

  • Leading, supporting and developing your commercial team, challenging our experienced sales managers to develop their sales

  • Leading, supporting and developing our technical support (BioFarm), delivering a strong value proposition to our customers

  • Proactive contribution to business development, product marketing and management team


Head up our commercial team

Today, our Commercial team for BioMar West Med & Africa consists of colleagues based in Spain, France and Italy. Furthermore, we have sales agents and distributors in Europe and in Africa. You will meet a dedicated and experienced team, passionate about developing out markets by collaborating across the organisation. We take pride in our work and our capabilities, and we strive to maintain a close relationship and cooperation with our customers. Thus your role will require extensive travel.


Business development experience and a strategic, commercial approach

As a person, you are ambitious and ready to build a strong team around you. You have a strategic and commercial approach to your work and know the value of contributing to the success of your stakeholders. You communicate with ease, no matter who is in front of you, and have no problem negotiating with key customers. Also, you thrive in a complex market structure with many different cultures within a strong competitive environment. Furthermore, we hope you:


  • Hold a master’s degree in within the area of Business Development, Commercial or have acquired similar capabilities

  • Have several years of experience, preferably in the aquaculture or food industries

  • Speak and write English and Spanish fluently, and it is a plus if you also know French
