About the job:
This is a professional and commercial position where marketing of our products are crucial. In addition to having an understanding and knowledge of our core business, you have knowledge and talent for product development and marketing. You will lead and develop a team of experienced professionals.

Within Cargill Aqua Nutrition’s salmon feed business in Norway and Scotland you will also partner with internal teams, customers, external suppliers and networks to improve and develop product recipes, review existing products and value innovation projects. This to ensure a proactive pipeline of products and solutions according to our marketing strategy.

About you:
As a person, you are a team-oriented and agile leader able to drive the development-team towards the goals. You are able to make good priorities and set clear goals for the team and work systematically to implement plans. You have the initiative and creativity needed to help the team succeed in product development projects, and your priorities and perseverance will contribute to the team’s success. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure customer acceptance by applying product technical leadership into submissions of product innovations to meet with KPI’s.
  • Ensure that we possess the technology and expertise needed to solve the challenges we face now and in the future.
  • Visualize value for the customer by product marketing.
  • Collaborate with key cross functional teams to align on and create technical product solutions.
  • Develop strong customer relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion manufacturing and quality initiatives through product recipe or formulation modification to best drive safety, quality and capacity.
  • Provide leadership to further develop the product development teams and build the regional and global community to increase organizational agility.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals.
  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.


  • Preferably MSc in aqua nutrition, fish veterinary science, or a related field, or equivalent experience combined with skills and talent for product marketing.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience.
  • Fluent in Norwegian, written and oral, and able to use English as working language.
  • Confirmed ability to influence the business and cross functional teams locally, regionally and globally.
  • Experience in successfully bringing new products, upgrades and cost innovation or improvement initiatives to market.
  • Understanding of how access to customer data and digital capability can drive customer intimacy and development of business models that creates more customer value.
  • Experience from the salmon farming industry is desirable, but not a requirement.
  • Experience and confirmed ability to build and lead effective teams.
  • Ability to be innovative with a good sense of business acumen.
