Area Manager

The Area Manager is a key role in the Management Team and will provide input into the tactical and operational capacity and development of Sanford King Salmon Farming strategy.

The Role
The Area Manager on Stewart Island will be responsible for the smooth running of farm operations and fish performance within the Big Glory Bay region on Rakiura, Stewart Island. You will focus on delivering the annual production targets, within the agreed mbudget measured through a number of KPI's.
  The role will safely manage a team of staff in alignment with our core values of care, passion, integrity and achieving together while striving for continuous improvement in all aspects of salmon rearing.
  The role will work within the Salmon Management team and will need to be able to develop and maintain positive relationships within the wider business as well as key external stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate
Someone who has extensive experience in salmon farming with over 5 years’ experience in direct fish farm site management and degree in relevant fields preferably Aquaculture.
  Also, we are looking for someone who I looking to continue grow her/his career and have an influence in salmon farming in New Zealand. You will also have a strong understanding and affinity for salmon farming KPI’s and report metrics.
